1. Participating in the conference organized by the council ministers of Kurdistan regional in Erbil from 7-8/03/2006,in the occasion of International Women day, the conference is focused on discussing the best ways to adopt measures on how to keep rights that the Kurdistan Parliament has approved concerning woman to be the consequence of responsibilities in decisions and coming Law which should be issued by Parliament ‘legislation.
2. In cooperation with NDI the organization conducted first leadership forum within civic outreach program , on March,13,2006 ,as a notable members of Iraqi Parliament were hosted to this open session and the audience were common public and representatives of political parties to demonstrate the role of Iraqi Parliament and its assignment , also they had discussed the role of Parliament in issuing special laws that serves the citizens and the way of opening communication channels to reach the upper authorities and to convey all the complaints and suggestions for finding solutions .
3. The second open Leadership Forum had been organized by KCRO in cooperation with NDI in 19/03/2006, members of Kurdistan and Iraqi Parliament were invited to discuss the mechanism of basic work that it depend on, also they focused on the role of Media in passing on the ideas and suggestions of the people to parliament, the tow forums has come out with so many recommendations and resolutions that enriched the civic outreach program.
4. Participating in the conference that being held by Kurdish Institute for Elections In Dokan province from 15-16,March, 2006 on (NGOs difficulties and challenges after new Iraqi Constitution), lights were shed on the comprehensive mind of temporary Iraqi history, also the role of the NGOs in protecting the freedom and the rights of minorities and Woman as well.
5.From 19-20, March, 2006, taking part in the conference which organized by the force of protecting environment in coordinating with Duhok government administrative and Duhok university, the tow day of gathering focused on many axis about the way of protecting the environment and issuing laws and decisions which are contributed in protection, also the conference recommended to form Ministry of Environment in Kurdistan Region, the participants were, more than 200 notable characters and form different worldwide ,and especially from Sweden ,Norway and Turkey.
6.From 22-31/03/2006, participating in the advanced training course that had been conducted by Arabic Institute for Human Rights in Beirut, in cooperation with National Endowment for Democracy, about Human Rights and Democratic Transition to Iraqi NGOs, the training focused on intellectual and historical background of Human rights, the International criterion and warrants of impartial courts, managing campaigns and Free Elections.
7. From 29-31,03,2006 taking part in the training course which had been organized by International Republican Institute in Amman about National Reconciliation and writing project proposals.
8. On March 31,KCRO conducted a workshop to discuss the draft of Iraqi NGOs ’law ,in cooperation with Iraqi Civil Society Program ,the workshop had come out with many recommendations and suggestions to enrich the draft which submitted to Iraqi Parliament for approval.
